Welcome to Run Your Race —where personal transformation meets professional guidance. Founded by Laurie J. Washington, our consulting practice blends a deeply personal journey with over 25 years of expertise in Human Resources, Workforce Development, and Non-Profit leadership.

In 2015, while training for her first half marathon, Laurie questioned her coach’s interval method. The response—“Sis, it’s your race to run”—became a life-changing revelation. Success doesn’t require following someone else’s pace or expectations. Real growth happens when you honor your own path, rhythm, and timeline.
